Preparation

1. Prepare the beans, to do so, soak them a day before or a minimum of 12-15 hours .
2. Prepare all the meat  to make the broth. Likewise,  wash the salted bones and reserve the potatoes, chorizo, cabbage, turnip tops or cabbage .
3. Put a pot with plenty of cold water and  add the beans, the piece of butter, the bacon, the ham and the meat . Leave it on high heat until it starts to boil.
4. When it starts to boil,  leave it for about 20 minutes  and watch as you remove the foam and impurities that form in the broth.
5. Then, let it cook for 1 hour  over medium heat. If it stays dry add more water.
6. After an hour,  look at  how the beans are  and, if they are almost tender, we can prepare the other ingredients.
7. Peel the potatoes , you can add them whole or cut in half. Next,  wash the cabbage or vegetables and cut them  into pieces, add them,  also the chorizo . Depending on the season you can add the turnip tops, it is the typical Galician vegetable, if you can’t find them you can put cabbage or if you like some chard. Let everything cook until everything is cooked. Taste for salt and, if necessary, add a little.
8. Serve the Galician turnip broth  and add the meat in a bowl.
